I stand at the crossroads
Which way is right?
To my left stands a man
To my right stands a knight
The man offers his hand
And says that he'll guide me
Gives freedom and joy
Loves me as I will be
Knight closes his visor
And lays down the law
No passage through here
Without being sure
Man shows how life is
And not how it should be
Keeps life alive
And will naught deny thee
The way of the knight
Is strewn with his lies
Created from riches
While innocents die
The man's path is love
The knight's filled with hate
So I'm torn between
Decision I make
Love should be felt
Not just so claimed
If knight could be cured
But alas he lies maimed
You may think I'm wrong
In what I have left
Behind me stands pain
Forwards lies death
Forgive me my choice
Though it's mine to choose
I know that I'm right
Though how sure are you?

Its really strange because I wrote this quite randomly in one hit in the space of about 10 minutes with a clear meaning in mind...by the time I'd finished I had two...now I have read it again a few times and this now has several different interpretations to me. I hope in reading it you can get something from it also...
