First Kiss

If you’re not looking for something how can you know it’s found?
It’s right in front of you
Showing you all you ever wanted
Needed?
Longed for

Some claim that they can learn everything about you
With that first kiss
That momentary touch of pink flesh
Everything?
Apparently

The biggest lie is stated in the above; it wasn’t your kiss
It was just you
The way you beckoned to me
A Gesture?
Seriously

“It must have been more than a gesture” I hear some say
But at that moment
I saw everything slide into place
Perfect?
Complete

How life was bearable before no one will ever know
I certainly don’t recall
Without you here beside me
Darkness?
Nothingness

I can see the light in your eyes; reflecting mine
It’s all in the eyes
The window to your soul
Open?
Comforting

Finding that which was lost in the first instance
And now it's been found
Never wanting to relinquish
Ever?
Ever

A second voice in a love poem? Yes that's right! I like this one...which is weird I don't usually like my sloppy love stuff...
